Ring 258 Meeting Minutes

Thursday, March 28,2013

President Jim Moody opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Don Taylor led the Club in the Pledge of Allegiance. Chris Dunn brought Taylor & Rachael Schoop as his guest. Terry Harris had his wife Sue as a guest and Bob Berruti had Marjean Goulet as his guest.

The February Minutes were approved. The Treasurer’s report was given by George Smallwood and accepted. Roger Reid updated us on Camp Boggey Creek.  Our committee consisting of Lee Langer, Bryan Weller, and April Malara is exploring options with other charities in Lake County will be reporting at next months meeting.

Greg Solomon our lecture chairman informed us about the up coming lecture schedule. May 5^th we will have Ice McDonald lecturing. This lecture will be at 2 PM at the Best Western in Leesburg.

President Moody spoke about the Sinai Temple show we did on March 24^th. Tickets to the show were pre sold so even though turn out was not a high as expected due to the weather it was a successful event for the club. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event.

The next meeting is going to be April the 25^th. Next months theme will be what I got at the auction.  Don Taylor won the 50/50.

Tonight instead of a theme we had our auction. We auctioned off the Chuckles the Clown Collection.  This collection included a wide assortment of effects and equipment running from clown to cards to platform and stage effects.  It offered something for everyone.  Bryan Weller served as our auctioneer.
