Three Guest joined us at the Lake County Magic Association’s May meeting,
Mike Palma, Wayne Hughes and Bob Drake all from the Ocala Area. Thank you guys for coming so far to spend time with us in Leesburg. We are also happy to announce three new members to our club Richard Hewitt, Lee Langer and Bob Kimmel, welcome to the club.

Magic Ian Sutz will be conducting a Lecture Tour in the Greater New York Area.
Lenn Lamoureux will be doing Birthday Parties in the Lake County Area.

Old Business:
George Smallwood and Roger Reid reported on the progress of incorporation. A Ring Charter needs to be located for the completion of the process, however their diligence
Has put us one step closer. Thank You George and Roger.

New Business:
Jim Moody announced that The Villages have invited the Lake County Magic Association back for a show next year. The feedback and response of the people who attended the show was very favorable.

A motion was presented that Chris Smith be paid $150.00 to cover expenses incurred during the filming of The Villages Show. It was carried unanimously.
A Special Thanks was extended to Roger Reid, who so generously purchased copies of The Village Show DVD for the club members.
All club members agreed that we needed to again thank Jim Moody and
Lenn Lamoureux for all their hard work putting the Villages Show together.

The subject of a new meeting place was presented to the club. Lil’ Anthony’s
which is opening in the old O’Brien’s on hwy 441 in Leesburg was suggest and everyone seem to feel this would be a good move. It’s where we had our luncheons in the pass and has a private room we can use. Lil’ Anthony’s will not be opening until some time in July, so until it is firmed up we will continue to meet at the Youth and Retreat Center.
