Ring 258 Christmas Party Dec 2006
Dec 28th brought us the last get together of the Lake County Magic Association for the year 2006.A Christmas party took the place of a formal meeting with approximately 30 in attendance. Wives and guests were included.
The party started with President Jim Moody and wife Linda taking a photo of each member and partner which was placed in a festive holder to be worn on your shirt. Pres Jim organized the party with his helper elves Linda Moody and George, Jackie and Joan Smallwood.
Soon a spread of food would appear that was so good that the room fell into silence as eating was the main feature.
Before us appeared a large table filled with gifts one side for the men (magic) and the other for the women (non magic)
Let the fun begin. Everyone was given a number to pick a gift. When you picked your gift you could open it or trade if for someon e's previously opened gift. The comments and laughter ran wild as the gift exchange continued. Items were swapped until all gifts were selected.
As the festivities wound down some of the members performed some magic. A fun time was had by all!
Happy New Year ! See you in 2007.
