Ring 258 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was opened at 8:00 p.m. by President Jim Moody. Our new officers for year 2013 were installed by outgoing Vice President George Many.  Officers are President Jim Moody, Vice President Greg Solomon, Treasurer George Smallwood and Secretary James "Skip" Waversak.  Ring 258 would like to give a big Thank You to outgoing Vice President George Many for the great job he has done.  Due to the fact that tonight was also our annual Holiday Party, the meeting was adjourned by President Moody at 8:20 p.m. 
We had a great holiday party and all members tip our hat to Terry Harris and Wally Libenson for all the work they did putting it together.  Greg Solomon started things off with some terrific close-up magic.  We then were treated to a very tasty buffet style dinner, followed by the "Magic Show".  Jim Moody was our M.C and started the show off with some magic and comedy.  Roger Reid was next starring as "CIGAM" and did a unique act doing everything backward.  Terry Harris then wrapped things up with a very entertaining "inebriated" Passe Passe Bottle routine.  He really seemed to enjoy that Irish Whiskey.  We then had our gift exchange which is always a lot of fun.  You can pick a gift or take someone else's gift when your turn comes.  Thanks to Judy Dunn for keeping track of the gifts.  That is not an easy job when you have a roomful of "grown men" going after magic effects.  Everyone had a great time and the party ended around 10:30 p.m.
