Fwd: Chuck Smith

Hi Magi,
     As some of you may know member Chuck Smith had a stroke last week.  Here is the latest on his condition from Greg Solomon who visited Chuck today.

Subject: Chuck Smith

Here is the latest update on Chuck.

I went to see him this morning around 10.  He is settling into his new digs at Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Ocala.

The hospital is located off of Easy Street behind the Hardees.

He is doing well, he still cannot speak and appears to still be somewhat paralyzed on his Right side.  He appears a bit frustrated most likely because he cannot speak and has difficulty moving around.

Other than that he keeps himself occupied by watching Turner Classic Movies and seems to enjoy the old black and whites.  He is pretty aware of everything and can use the TV remote and read the get well card Ring 170 sent.

That is about all I have at this point in time  I am sure he would appreciate any kind of visit if you can manage it.  Just don't expect a whole lot of 2 way conversation!
