Loss of a Brother

 

To the Members of I.B.M. Ring 258:

 

     We have lost one of our own.  In an e-mail message received from his wife yesterday, I was informed that Ring member Jim Forsyth passed away on Friday,

May 6, 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

     The viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Page Theus Funeral Home located at 914 W. Main St., Leesburg, 352-787-5511.  Per direction from his wife there will not be a Broken Wand Ceremony at this time.

     The Ring is sending flowers to the funeral home.  An obituary and photo will be sent for publication in The Linking Ring.  

     Mrs. Beverly Forsyth has offered to donate all of Jim's magic paraphernalia to the Ring.  Ring President Jim Moody will be in touch with Mrs. Forsyth to handle that donation.
